Higashiyoshino Village, known for its ability to attract talented artists and creators from Japan and abroad, is getting ready for an exciting studio tour called Open Atelier.

For three days the village’s talented artists and creators will open their studios to the public, showcasing their artwork and products. You will have the unique opportunity to meet the artists and to see where they make their work, all while enjoying the stunning autumn scenery that surrounds Higashiyoshino. So come visit and tour around the village to embrace the enchanting world of artistic expression.

How to get around Open Atelier

The Open Atelier takes place at 18 studios and exhibition sites around Higashiyoshino. Drive around the village to enjoy sightseeing, hot springs, shopping, and even lodging. You can also rent a bike for a fee (limited to 10 bicycles) if you prefer to bike.

  • Park your car at the Kameya parking lot to rent a bike, as well as to stop by the Kameya shop.
