A small aquarium standing at the gateway to Akame 48 Waterfalls.
Here you can observe up close the giant salamander, a national Special Natural Monument, along with fish inhabiting Akame's streams and rare freshwater creatures.
More than just viewing, it offers rich hands-on experiences where you can touch and learn. It's packed with the wonders of Akame's nature and water.

Summer (March through the second Friday of the month to November 30): 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
    Winter (December 1 through the second Thursday of the month): 9:00 am to 4:30 pm
From Kintetsu Akameguchi Station, take the bus to Akamedaki and get off at the last stop (about 10 minutes).
