This Michi-no-Eki or roadside station is located at the intersection of National Routes 369 and 368. As the name shows, it is associated with the old Nara-Ise pilgrimage road in Mitsue Village. Nowadays, like many travelers visited there on their way in ancient times, many drivers and riders drop in at this rest area.
The facility consists of the tourism information desk, farmers market, hot springs, and eateries. The farmers’ market sells fresh local produce and local specialties. The hot spring named “Himeshi no Yu” has various types of baths, as well as saunas and open-air baths. You can relax in the spacious tatami room after a bath. Free Wi-Fi available.
