Said to be over 300 years old, the aged blossoms of this Shidare-zakura (weeping cherry blossoms) continue to delight a large number of visitors every year. Flowers blooming in every direction from massive branches make for a truly exquisite sight. Designated as a Yamazoe Village natural treasure, the blossoms are in full bloom from early-to-mid April.
