Nabari Central Park is famous for a beautiful tunnel of cherry trees. Every year from late March through the middle of April, the 600-meter-long road is closed to vehicular traffic and becomes a pedestrian-only cherry blossom viewing zone. The blooming trees are lit up in the evenings, so people can see the flowers night and day.
Sakura Festival, held on a Saturday during the period, is now a spring tradition of Nabari. People come to the park to enjoy the street food, flea market, and stage performances, as well as cherry blossoms in full bloom.
