A rock shaped like a woman’s buttock is the object of worship, associated with a legendary princess. The name himeshi (princess stone) was given from the belief that the princess prayed here for her recovery from her gynecological problems. It is also known as a myojin deity notable for matchmaking and safe delivery of babies.
This place is located by Maruyama Park and on the route of the old Ise Hon-kaido. The pass ahead leads to Mie Prefecture.
