Saijobo Waterfall

Saijobo no Taki / 済浄坊の滝

It is said that there used to be a Buddhist temple here called Saijobo, where ascetics purified themselves and worshipped Fudo Myoo, a wrathful deity.
A beautiful, clear waterfall flows through a ravine of rocks and pours into an emerald green basin. This pristine nature has a different look each season. Summer is especially refreshing when it has plenty of water. You can also enjoy lush greenery in the summer and the colorful leaves in the autumn.
