Located southwest of the famous Mount Takami, Takami no Sato is one of the most popular cherry blossom spots in Nara Prefecture. One thousand weeping cherry trees bloom in April and cover the entire hilltop. During the full-bloom season, the view from the observatory is truly amazing.

Direct shuttle buses operate from Haibara Station from April 4th to 13th, 2025. Take the shuttle bus from the South Exit side of Kintetsu Haibara Station (榛原駅). A 45-minute ride. Reservation required.
