Takami no Sato – 1000 Weeping Cherry Trees

Located southwest of the famous Mount Takami, Takami no Sato is one of the most popular cherry blossom spots in Nara Prefecture. One thousand weeping cherry trees bloom in April and cover the entire hilltop. During the full-bloom season, the view from the observatory is truly amazing.

Take the shuttle bus from Kintetsu Haibara Station (榛原駅), bus stop No.3 (45-minute bus ride). The buses run from April 10 to April 23, 2023.
