Takami no Sato – 1000 Weeping Cherry Trees

Located southwest of the famous Mount Takami, Takami no Sato is one of the most popular cherry blossom spots in Nara Prefecture. One thousand weeping cherry trees bloom in April and cover the entire hilltop. During the full-bloom season, the view from the observatory is truly amazing.

  • The site is open only during the peak season
  • Free shuttle service between the parking lot and the entrance is available.

Public transportation
Shuttle buses operate from Haibara Station during the season. Timetables and fares will be announced later.

Adults: 1,500 yen, children: 500 yen, preschool children: free
