Rime Ice Buses to Mt. Miune & Mt. Takami 2023

On weekends and national holidays during the snow trekking season, shuttle buses called “Rime Ice bus” run between Haibara Station (榛原駅) of Kintetsu Railway to each trailhead of the beautiful mountains––Mt. Miune and Mt. Takami.

To Mt. Miune

Get off at Haibara (榛原) station of Kintetsu Railway. The bus departs from the south side of the station for Mitsue Youth Travel Village, the trailhead (みつえ青少年旅行村). To ride the bus, find the temporary bus stop with a signboard saying 三峰山行 臨時バス (special bus to Mt. Miune). Reservation required.

Departs from Haibara station at 8:15 a.m. (arrives at the trailhead at 9:24 a.m.)

Return: straight to the station
Departs from Youth Travel Village at 4:00 p.m. for Haibara Station (arrives at Haibara stn. at 5:09 p.m.)

Return: to the station via the onsen hot spring
Departs from Youth Travel Village at 2:30 p.m. for Himeshi no Yu
Departs from Himeshi no Yu around 4:00 p.m. (arrives at Haibara stn. at 5:09 p.m.)

JPY1,380/adult, JPY690/child
